Hello fellow scrapbookers!!! Welcome to "Lasting Memories" which is all about LAYOUTS!! Yes, JUST layouts! There are no cards allowed here. We have weekly themed challenges, but you have the whole month to get in on the fun! Our challenges begin each Sunday at 8am EST and all 4 challenges will end on the date listed on the sidebar at 6pm EST. At month's end, we will choose a GDT to join us for a month! Only one entry per challenge, and no back-linking is allowed since we would love to know that we "challenged" you. We look forward to challenging you and helping you get your pages completed!

Today is a special day here at Lasting Memories. Not only is it the start of a new month of challenges - but today we are sharing our 500th challenge! 500 challenges...I think that is a pretty awesome feat! There aren't a lot of challenge blogs left and we are so fortunate that we have such wonderful followers encouraging us to keep on going!

Introducing June's Guest Designer

Hello and Happy Saturday! I hope your weekend is off to a good start. Just a quick reminder that the deadline to enter May's challenges is today at 6 PM EST.

Today we are introducing June's Guest Designer! Again we would like to thank Sandi, Jessica, Karen B, and Anna for being our guest designers in May. They brought so much inspiration to the blog each week. Now, please help us welcome our June Guest Designer - Karen Sessions!

My name is Karen Sessions and I am thrilled to have been invited as a Guest Designer during June. I live in California and I've been addicted to paper-crafting for over twelve years. My passions are scrapbooking and card making but I have enjoyed a lifetime of creative hobbies...sewing, knitting, embroidery, ceramics, jewelry, home decor, and rubber stamping. I am comfortable creating in many different styles: vintage, cutesie, eclectic, steampunk, and sometimes CAS but most often my work is very intricate and embellished with a feminine flair. Embellishing is my favorite part of the process where I select the perfect finishing touch. Hello, everyone! Welcome back to Lasting Memories! We are smack dab in the middle of the long Memorial Day weekend here in the US.

I can't believe that it is already time for our last challenge of the month! That means it will be the last challenge for our guest designers - Sandi, Jessica, Karen B, and Anna. I know I have really enjoyed seeing their beautiful work each and every week this month! We want to thank each and every one of you for being our guest designer!

I adore spots and dots, so it was no hardship to feature some dotty paper on this page. I used a few different sizes of flowers and some sweet Basic Grey alphabet stickers.
