Happy New Years Eve my friends! What plans do you have for this evening? The last few years we've had a quiet evening at home with finger foods and some good movies. A nice way to end the holidays as well as the year. My parents pop by for a bit and make their rounds with us 3 kids and then it's time for them to hunker down too. Challenge #19 - Winter Theme, Last Post for 2010 AND a DT Call for 2011!

Good morning friends!! We have a few things happening this week...first and foremost, since this is our last post with my current DT, I'd like to send a personal message to them:

I want to thank you all SO much for joining me on my first challenge blog adventure. You've all been super supportive and I've loved getting to know you. I wasn't sure about running a challenge blog as I know it's a huge commitment, but then I thought, what a great way to get working on those layouts!! So, I jumped in with both feet and ran my DT call. You've all stepped up to the plate and I've loved your work and I do hope you'll join us in the new year when you can!!! Don't be strangers!!

I also want to thank all of you who have joined us the last few months and inspired us with YOUR layouts as well. It's really neat seeing everyone's idea's on each challenge and I look forward to seeing more in the new year!!

Now onto this week's layout! We're challenging you to make a "winter themed" layout.With the Christmas season upon us, this will be our last challenge for 2010. You have till Friday, December 31 @ 9pm EST to join us. We hope you can find time to play along with us!

Are you interested in trying out for my DT? I'm looking for 7 people, so with myself, we'll have a DT of 8. Here's what I'm looking for & what you need to know:

• You will be signing on for 4 mths (Jan - Apr)
• Each challenge is posted on Sunday mornings at 8am EST, so pls have your post ready to go, on the challenge blog, by 9pm EST Saturday as I'll just pre-post
• I would like it if you could try and comment on as many entries as you can, including the DT
• I will send you out a full calendar in advance so you can work at your own pace
• There may be a blog hop within your DT period, so I ask that you join in
• Most important...HAVE FUN AND NO STRESS!!! If for some reason you can't join on a particular week, I ask that you make mention of our challenge on your blog and then just send me a quick email, it's that easy! I know we all get busy and sometimes things come up that are more important, no worries!!

How do you apply?? Play along with this week's challenge and add DT with your name. I'll be contacting my 7 new members on Saturday, January 1 and we'll be back in full swing on Sunday, January 8!!!
