I'm afraid we've scare you off this week! Lets hope not, because we would love to see something from your hometown. This could be something from where you were born, grew up, it's up to you! The DT had a little trouble with this one to, but we certainly got creative and threw some awesome ideas around for those struggling. Here's a great 2 pg LO from our very own Michele, who shows us her state fair.
You still have lots of time to join us so come on out and show off that hometown of yours. You can link it up here and challenge closes Sat at 6pm EST
Ohhh Awesome!! :) Thank you!! And for those that are struggling with this challenge... it can be almost ANYTHING that you do in your hometown!! Another idea I had was to do something with the kids in their schools etc. Let's see what you've got!!
ReplyDeleteSome awesome ideas on the DT layouts---
ReplyDeleteThe view from a patio, Home is on the water, I have two- a tree and a play park, of course the state fair above, the city night lights, loads of information and quick facts from where one DT grew up, the harbour... Plus loads more..
Oh what about--- Home is where the heart is..
I come from a town 2hrs south of my current town, so I would love to do a LO on all the DOORS I knock on of family members each time we need to stay down there..
The ideas and possibilities are endless, so please don't get scared away... This is a great challenge that you'll be pleased that you completed!!! :)
Toni... xoxo
What a fabulous inspiration. I would LOVE to play along, but would be cheating if I did (LOL)..I scrapped my hometown, Duluth, MN long ago and I know it's not right to post old work. But thanks for causing me to think of my dear hometown (I miss so much).
ReplyDeleteI'd like to ask all you sweet gals, and friends of Lasting Memories, to PLEASE stop by:
www.redcarpetstudiochallenge.blogspot.com and in the right-hand side bar under the category of Punny Card Projects, PLEASE vote for me (Karen). I really need some more votes, and would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks for a great challenge here. I keep checking back to check the themes, and I WILL play along again soon. You guys always inspire me.
Blessings,
