Hello and welcome back to Lasting Memories! I can't believe that it is already time for our last challenge for June! June has seemed to go by in a flash!

Our theme for June has been "Switcheroo" and we have been challenging you to switch up the way you use your supplies. This week's challenge is:

Deanna says - We often just use sketches as is. Some people take inspiration by flipping it all around. I've shown it in the original form, but you are to use it in the flipped image I provided.

LM #604 - Switcheroo - Punches

Hello, everyone! Welcome back to Lasting Memories! We are so happy that you have stopped by today.

It's time for our fourth challenge of the month. Our theme for June is 'Switcheroo' and we are challenging you to switch up the way you use your scrapbook supplies. This week's challenge is:

LM #604 - Punches - use the "negative space" from a punch on your layout.

Deanna says - "This week we are looking at 'Punches'. We often just use what a particular tool is meant to be used for like a border punch, then we discard the 'negative part'. But, this week we are switching it up. Use the 'Negative Space' from a punch. Most often we throw those little things away, but sometimes they are also decorative. Please state what you used in case we can't see it."

{I used a Fiskars Upper Crest Border Punch and used it as is on the right border with the Martha Stewart Footlight teal border strip. I used the 'negative space' to frame my title and as a shelf for the word phrases.}

LM #603 - Switcheroo - Frames

Hello, hello! Welcome back to Lasting Memories! We hope that you are having a good weekend.

It is time for a new challenge and we have another fun one for you this week. Our theme for June is "Switcheroo" and we are challenging you to switch up the way you use your scrapbook supplies. This week's challenge is:

LM #603 - Frames - Use a frame in a different way.

Deanna says - "I think of frames to be used to showcase a photo like we use picture frames. So use a frame or more than one in a different way, maybe to add layers, make a page design, or showcase anything other than a photo."

LM #602- Switcheroo - Seasonal Themed Papers

 Hello, everyone! Welcome back to Lasting Memories! We are so happy that you have stopped by today.

Our theme for June is "Switcheroo" and we are switching things up with our supplies this month!

Sometimes we get stuck using certain products or can't find a certain paper to match our photos. This month we are going to switch it up a bit. We need to realize those themed lines are versatile sometimes by going with color or pattern.

This week's challenge is:

LM #602 - Seasonal Themed Papers - Use Seasonal Patterned Papers for something else. This would be Spring, Summer, Fall, or Winter themed patterned papers for something other than its particular season. 

Please state what you used and why you chose to use it for your layout.

{I used Carta Bella's 'Welcome Autumn' Papers for granddaughter Lucy's photos at the trampoline part because there were basic prints and the colors matched.}

(I used Bo Bunny Sleigh Ride paper for this layout of my cats watching us put together their new Cat Tree.  I used the Tree paper because I thought it was appropriate for the Cat Tree photos.)
