Hello, scrappy friends! Happy Sunday to you! I hope you are having a good weekend and are able to stay cool if you are experiencing the heat like we are! Yesterday we hit 100* - the first time for us this summer. I'm ready for a little bit of a cool down!
We have our fourth and final challenge of July for you today. Our theme for this month has been - Summer Adventures - and this week our challenge is:
LM #354 - Go On A Scrappy Adventure - document a layout in a size that you don't normally scrap.
Show us your mini albums, travelers notebook, custom pocket page, etc. Do you normally scrap 12x12? Then why not try an 8x8 or an 8.5 x11? Give that new size a try and you just might decide that you like it!
First of all, we would like to thank Denise for being our Guest Designer in July! We have really enjoyed her beautiful layouts this month! She has also agreed to be our Guest Designer for August so you will be seeing more of her beautiful work next month, as well!
Here is what the design team has come up with for this challenge, starting with GDT - Denise.
Denise scrapped an 8x8 layout
I created a mini album.
I created this 6x8 pocket page with 2x2 squares. I have not done many of these, but I'm really loving it! I am even considering a new 100 day project possibly incorporating this size. 2x2 pockets are wonderful for sparkly shakers!
I have created a 6x8 layout for my granddaughter's 6x8 album.
Beautiful projects once again from our talented design team! Now it's your turn - be sure to link up by July 28!
