LM #427 - This and That - Patterned Paper Challenge

Hello and Happy Sunday! I hope that everyone had a good Christmas and that you're looking forward to the new year.

Yesterday we introduced our 3 talented guest designers for January. If you haven't checked out the post be sure to check it out and say hello to Krystle, Ella, and Jennifer.

Before we get to the new theme and challenge I want to let you know of a change here on the blog. The link-up will now be added at the end of each challenge instead of at the top of the blog page. 

Now, onto this week's challenge. In January we will work on using up some of our supplies in our stash that maybe we have - dare I say it - a little too much of - OR items that are being neglected - hence our theme of "This and That". For the first challenge of the new year, we are going to concentrate on all that pretty paper we have in our stash.

LM #427 - Patterned Paper - Use at least 3 different patterned papers on your layout. You can use more but you must use at least 3.

Introducing Our January Guest Designers

Hello and Happy Saturday! Can you believe it is the last weekend of 2018?! Tomorrow will be our first challenge of 2019 and we look forward to bringing you another year of challenges.
Today we are introducing our Guest Designers for January. We have 3 talented scrappers joining us this month. First up is Krystle:

I am excited to be this month's guest designer! I love being inspired by challenges to create layouts to document my memories. I am a long-time scrapper, having begun to scrap in 1998. Now my hobby has become an obsession! For me, scrapbooking is therapeutic and I enjoy preserving memories in such a beautiful way. I live in Albuquerque, New Mexico with my husband and son, who is the subject of most of my layouts. I look forward to a great month of creating with you!

Hello everyone!
I'm Ella, which is a polish diminutive from Elisabeth. I come from Poland but since 2006 I live near to Ratisbon, Bavaria, Germany with my family. I have two sons (7 and 11). 
I love to crochet and knit, I also draw and paint. I've been interested in scrapbooking and cardmaking in 2016. I think it's some kind of art to and I think some experience from painting can be helpful in scrapbooking. For me it's a wonderful time to spend free time. Hi, I'm Jennifer and I'm so glad to be a guest designer for Lasting Memories this month!  I live in southern NJ, married to my husband..we just celebrated 20 years of wedded bliss!!  Together we have two kids who are usually the subject of my scrapping, Declan is 16 and Keira is 14.  I've been scrapping and card making for 11 years...not sure where that time went!  When I'm not crafting, cleaning or cooking, I'm a lunch aide for 1st and 2nd graders and a substitute secretary for our middle and high schools.  Although I don't create as often as I'd like, please visit MY BLOG.

We are so excited to have Krystle, Ella, and Jennifer joining us in January and look forward to seeing their creations each week!

LM #426 - Holiday Traditions - My Favorite Things

Hello, everyone! Good Sunday morning to you! Are you all ready for Christmas? After a day of shopping yesterday, I think that I am finally ready!

With Christmas just a little over a week away, and in order to give the design team a little break, this week's challenge will run for two weeks. Since this is the last challenge for the month, and for 2018, we want to say a big thank you to our guest designer for December, Jill! I have really enjoyed Jill's layouts that she has shared each week. Thank you, Jill, for being our guest designer!

LM #424 - Holiday Traditions - Old Time Photo

Hello, everyone! Happy December! Can you believe this year is almost over? Be on the lookout for winners post this week for October and November challenges.

A new month means a new theme and a new set of challenges, but before we get to that, we have a new Guest Designer to introduce. Please give a warm welcome to our December Guest Designer, Jill Rugg:

I live in Somerset, Pennsylvania with my husband, our 20 year old daughter and 11 year old son. I am a high school mathematics teacher and use scrapbooking as my creative outlet. I have been crafting since I was a child, but in 2003 I fell in love with scrapbooking and it has become my favorite hobby. Of course, my family photos are always my inspiration for my layouts. In 2010 I started a blog and love participating in all the fun challenges! Thank you Lasting Memories for having me as Guest Designer. It is a big honor for me!
