Specialized Hosting Sites

A lot of crafters use specialized hosting sites that not all of us have access to. We just wanted to let you know that if we don't comment, it's because we don't have access - but we see your work here at LM and appreciate your taking the time to link up and show off your style!!

LM #384 - March Nat'l Month Of...Did You Know?

Hello, hello! Welcome back! We are so happy that you are here today - today is the start of our March challenges!

First, let's introduce our guest designers for March. For the month of March, we have 3 guest designers joining us - Rainny, Barbara, and Giorgia. Giorgia will be joining us a little later in the month and we will introduce her then.

First up is Rainny:

Hello, my name is Rainny and I live in Taiwan. I've been a secretary in a small company for 12 years. My husband and I have a puppy daughter, Riceball. I love to craft, watch movies, travel, and listen to music. When I was a university student, I started making cards. In recent years, I love scrapbooking. I like to record the life and treasured memories by scrapbooking. It's my pleasure to be chosen as the guest designer at Lasting Memories. If you would like to see more of my work, please visit my blog: http://rainny0127.pixnet.net/blog.

Next is Barbara:

I'm Barbara Greenberg and last fall we moved from Kansas City to the Lake of the Ozarks and our house is right on the lake and we love the new life here. I am an admitted scrapaholic for the past 9 years. I call this hobby the best non-paying job ever. I get up in the morning, get my cup of coffee and come into my office/scrap room and I'm ready to scrap for the entire day. I mostly do 12x12 layouts but also make some cards and I've been doing Project life yearly since 2014. I love this hobby and being able to look back at what I have done daily/weekly/monthly over the past years.

I belong to two different online scrapbook groups plus follow lists of challenge blogs so every day I have lots of scrappy e-mails to read and blogs to be inspired from. My blog is www.barbgreenberg.blogspot.com and I keep a challenge blog page there that I can check every day for new challenges.

Now, let's get to today's challenge. For the month of March, our theme is - March National Month Of... and we will be focusing on little-known facts/holidays in March.

Did you know that March was named for the Roman God "Mars"? Mars was the god of war and also an agricultural guardian. So our challenge to you is:

LM #384 - Create a layout about war (think a layout of a war hero, museum-area about war (Gettysburg)...) OR an agricultural/farm layout (which this could cover just about anything with farming - food, animals, seasons....)

Here' a look at what the design team has created - starting with our guest designers.

March GDT - Barbara

I chose to do an Agriculture layout.

I had photos for an agricultural layout from the farm!

She found these cool pictures of an Civil War Reenactment

Beautiful work from our talented design team!

I will be offering a prize for this month! Link up your layouts by Saturday, March 31st for your chance to win this:

Thanks so much for stopping by and hope you find time to create with us this week!
