Good morning, scrappy friends, and welcome to our first challenge for March. This is Jill, and this month, we're going to clear some items out of our stash by using some word play! I will give you a word, and you need to use an item from your stash for each letter in the word on your layout.

Introducing Our March Guest Designer

Hello everyone, and thanks for visiting us here at Lasting Memories, where it is always about layouts! Can you believer it's already the last day of February? That month flew by for me, with two weeks of torrential rain followed by two weeks of sunshine, but I got some scrapping done in the midst of it all. Hope you all got some memories scrapped in February, too. 

Are you ready for some new inspiration yet? Well, you will have to wait until tomorrow, but in the meantime, here's a treat for you, an introduction to our guest designer for March. Please help us welcome Vivi!

I`m Vivi Casale, 58 yo, married to the love of my life, and live in Sao Paulo, Brazil. I have worked as a Secretary for over 30 years now, and since 2009 when I found out about card making and scrapbooking, I  have being enjoying my free time with those. I love to scrapbook the photos that I take during my travels; at this moment, I`m working with photos from my trip to Italy, France and Egypt. Introducing Our February Guest Designer

Greetings, everyone, and thanks for stopping by Lasting Memories Challenge Blog, where our focus is always on layouts. January is almost in the rear view mirror, so it's time to take a peek at what's ahead.  We have four new challenges in store this February, and we hope they inspire you to dig into your stash or go shopping for some new supplies so you can scrap the story of your life!

The new challenges start tomorrow, but today we want to introduce you to our February Guest Designer. She only recently started playing along with our challenges, but I have been a long time fan of her artwork. Please help us welcome Amanda.

My name is Amanda. I am a wife, mom to one son, one daughter and two doggies. I work part time as a physical therapist and spend the rest of my time chauffeuring my children to their many activities! I live in Canada and get most of my scrapbooking done during our cold winters! I started scrapbooking in 2006 and have grown more and more in love with the hobby every year. I love to make both layouts and cards. I keep all my scraps regardless how small and love to find ways to use them all! One of my favorite uses for them is journal strips – I include as much journaling as I can on my layouts to help preserve memories!

LM #783 - Wendy's Sketch Challenges: Four Photos

Greetings, fellow scrappers. January is almost over already (doesn't it feel like the year just started?) so we are back with the final challenge for the month. Design team member Wendy has been treating us to some fun sketches, and we have certainly enjoyed playing with them. Hope you will, too!

This week, we are using a 4 photo sketch. Sketches are a great jumping off place for your layout design, but feel free to change them up a little to work with your photos. Rotate them, add an extra photo, used different shapes than the ones pictured, etc. And have fun with it!

LM #782 - Wendy's Sketch Challenges: Three Photos

It's a long weekend here in the United States, so hopefully you are taking advantage of that by either scrapbooking some past events or taking pictures of yourself doing something fun that you can later scrapbook! Design team member Wendy has been inspiring us to get crafty with some sketches she found, so let's get to her latest sketch.

This week, we are using a 3 photo sketch. Sketches are a great jumping off place for your layout design, but feel free to change them up a little to work with your photos. Rotate them, add an extra photo, used different shapes than the ones pictured, etc. And have fun with it!
