Introducing our September Guest Designers

Hello, everyone! Hope you all have enjoyed your summer and are getting ready for cooler weather (unless you're in the Southern hemisphere, where you're gearing up for summer). It's back to school time and that usually makes all the moms busier, but hopefully you all find some time to get creative with your scrapbooking in September.

Tomorrow is the start of a new month, and we are all ready to bring you a new theme and a new set of challenges. Today we want to introduce to our September Guest Designers. We have two creative scrappers joining us for our September challenges, and I know they are going to inspire you with their beautiful work! Here's a little bit about Julene - Julene has been scrapbooking for about 18 years and has been on several design teams. She's a regular participant here at Lasting Memories. Hi everyone! My name is Heidi and I live in Orange County in sunny Southern California. I live with my husband and 2 kitties Jupiter and Europa. I started scrapbooking almost 20 years ago when it was offered as an elective at my high school (can you believe it?!) and I haven’t stopped since. My favorite way to create a page is to start with a sketch and a color palette and then pull everything from my stash in those colors. I never know what I’ll end up using on a layout. I have lots of hobbies like yoga, reading books and video games, but I love the creative outlet that scrapbooking provides me. It allows me to connect with my memories on a more meaningful level than just scrolling through my phone. Thank you so much for having me at Sketches in Thyme as this month’s guest designer. Introducing our August Guest Designers

Hello everyone, and a happy Saturday to you. Hope you are enjoying your summer and having a relaxing time watching the Olympics or going on vacation or whatever makes your summer fun!

Today we are thrilled to announce our guest designers for August. They have both guest designed for us previously, so if feels like we're welcoming back some old friends. Alicia and Rainny, great to have you designing with us again!

Hi my name is Alicia O'Bryant.  I have lived in Ohio for the last 20 plus years.  I raised my son there but we are now empty nesters.  My situation makes for more time to craft and travel.  I have been crafting since high school and have played around with many media but paper has a special place in my heart.  Photography is also my passion, making scrapbooking the perfect craft for me!  I have scrapped thousands of pages over the years and truly appreciate the ideas and challenges from blogs like Lasting Memories to help keep my pages looking fresh.  I am excited to be a guest designer for August. I expect this months challenges will provide a lot of fun and games for us all.

Hello everyone! I am very happy to have the opportunity to be LM's GDT again. I am an ordinary office worker. In my spare time, I enjoy handicrafts, such as handmade cards, scrapbooking, and cross-stitch. I also like traveling and eating delicious food with friends. Many photos are always taken during these moments, so I like to record these good times by scrapbooking. I am very grateful to Lasting Memories for always giving me a lot of creative inspiration. Happy Sunday, everyone! It’s Maureen here from the Design Team bringing you this month's “Seasonal Wordplay Challenges." We've gone through all the seasons except Autumn, so guess which season we are focusing on now?

LM #712 - use a product or technique for every letter in the word Autumn to inspire your layout.

I have a few examples of scrapbooking items you could use: You can use any other items you want, as long as your page includes items starting with letters in the word “AUTUMN”
