Hello, hello scrappy friends! Happy Sunday to you! We just celebrated our Thanksgiving holiday here in the states and for me, it has meant lots of good food and lots of fun times making memories with the family!
We are back today with our last theme and our last set of challenges for 2017. Can you believe it is (almost) December?! This year has gone by incredibly fast it seems. Before we get to all of that we would like to give a warm welcome to our fabulous guest designers for December - Laurie and Denise!
Hi, my name is Laurie! I'm a Midwest transplant on the East Coast. By day, I review toys, but by night (and every other hour I'm not at work), I'm a blogger and scrapbooker. I've been scrapbooking since high school, but my scrapbooking style has definitely evolved over 15+ years. I am also a first-time mom to a little girl, so I always have a lot of pictures to scrap! And I am always behind on scrapping them!
Hello, I’m Denise from Germany. I have been a scrapbooker since I got my first camera when I was sixteen. I decorated my albums long time before I ever heard the word “scrapbooking”. Ten years ago, I was infected with all the possibilities of die cutters, papers, stamps, and embellishments. Last year, I started with mixed media and up to now, I like this style: a little bit neat, a little bit messy.
Now, on to our theme and challenge. DT Sandy is providing our challenges this month and they are going to be lots of fun! Our theme for December is - Winter/December Holiday Traditions and our first challenge of the month is:
LM #372 - Create a winter/December holiday traditions layout inspired by these colors:
You don't have to use all of the colors in your layout, but use as many as you can.
Here's a look at what the design team has created starting with our guest designers:

I will be offering up a prize this month - just not had a chance to get it rounded up so stay tuned for that. You will have until Saturday, December 30th to play along with us for your chance to win the prize and for a chance to be a guest designer in February.
