LM #811 - Jills' Favorite Things: Brands

Hi everyone, and thanks for stopping by today. This is Cheryl, reporting from a hotel room where my family is staying, not to have a nice vacation, but because we had to leave our house due to some work being done! It will look great when completed, but for now, it's a bit of a pain. Can anyone relate? Anyway, it's time for another of Jills Favorite Things challenge, so let's get to it.

LM #810 - Jill's Favorite Things: Tools

Greetings, everyone, and welcome to a wonderful new month of challenges here at Lasting Memories. Whether you are gearing up fmor school to start again or enjoying a relaxing vacation, we hope you take time to scrapbook those important memories. Heidi's favorite tool is her Sizzix Big Shot, which she uses to make die-cuts.

My favorite tool is my Big Shot die cutter. I made all the flowers and the leaves using my die cutters and some fun dies.

Haven

My current favorite is my border punches, as I'm trying to make myself use them more.

Introducing our August Guest Designer

Hello, everyone! I have been super busy getting my house ready to have the hardwood floors refinished, so I almost forgot to post our GDT introduction for August! She has guest designed for us previously and hardly needs an intro, but here it is anyway just in case anyone is new to our blog. Join me in welcoming Heidi back to Lasting Memories for the month. 

June GDT Heidi

Hi everyone! My name is Heidi and I live in Orange County in sunny Southern California. I live with my husband and 2 kitties Jupiter and Europa. I started scrapbooking almost 20 years ago when it was offered as an elective at my high school (can you believe it?!) and I haven’t stopped since. My favorite way to create a page is to start with a sketch and a color palette and then pull everything from my stash in those colors. I never know what I’ll end up using on a layout. I have lots of hobbies like yoga, reading books and video games, but I love the creative outlet that scrapbooking provides me. It allows me to connect with my memories on a more meaningful level than just scrolling through my phone. Thank you so much for having me at Lasting Memories as this month’s guest designer.
