Hello and welcome back!! Thank you for playing along last week. This weeks challenge may be tough for some and not so much for others. I personally have struggled with this in the past, but I'm getting better at it and find I now look fwd to this particular challenge ..  "All About Me"
Yep, this week, it's all about you!! It's not as hard as we think it is really, so have fun with this challenge and don't be afraid to show off your serious side, your goofy side and hey, even your "I've had it!" side! Can't wait to see those layouts this week! Here's a little about Claire!

Featured Layout - "Contradiction"

Good morning friends!! Karen here with today's "Featured" layout! First off, I was in awe when Tanya said she's mom to 5 .. then went on to say all that she does OUTSIDE motherhood!! Challenge #36 It's all about you Lasting Memories

Hello all,

Today is my first day of being featured here at Lasting Memories as one of the newest members of the Design Team. Whew hoo!!  It is pretty exciting for me... :) 

This challenge (all about ME) was not an easy "task", as like most of you, my layouts usually center around others, not myself (& I am the one usually taking the photos)-- but...once I got started, I could hardly make the pen stop writing.  I never knew I had so much to say about ME. ha  It turned out to be so much fun!  Thanks for the great idea, Karen!

I wanted to make all my photos center around what I love most. (No, not me-ha)--but everyone in my life, that, I feel so very fortunate to have...  My kids, parents, friends, and family...  It was fun to go through photos, looking for ones, that brought back a happy memory or two.
I used my nick name for my inspiration jump off, and my favorite tool, a PEN! :)  I incorporated a lot of words, that I think reflect the true me.  (My husband read this last night, and said, I think "sarcastic" should have been bold)--hum, wonder if he was getting at something? :)  Since I am a doodler,  I had loads of fun, adding words that started with the letters in "I AM SAM" to this layout.  I added a favorite quote of mine by Ralpho Waldo Emerson, {I even have a bracelet with it, I love it so much}. :)  And, lastly I put a list of some of the things, I would want someone to know about me--the person that I am. 

I hope, that my mish mash of MUCH ado about ME, can perhaps inspire someone else, to sit down, and do a layout about themselves.  I think once you get your brain around the whole "What, Who, ME" thing, you will enjoy every minute of creating a layout about yourself.  It is really quite FUN!  And, I would love to see WHO YOU are, and what you create!

I am truly inspired and humbled to be part of such a wonderful D/T team here at Lasting Memories, and I cannot wait to share more layouts with you, and see what layouts you share with us!

"This is Me" Layout - NEW DT Submission by Michele Fish

Good morning everyone!!  At least it is still morning where I live!!  :-)  My name is MICHELE and I am so excited to share with all of you my VERY FIRST layout created for Lasting Memories as one of their new Design Team Members!!  I am following the current ALL ABOUT YOU challenge 36 that just started yesterday. I am so honored and excited to have been chosen, and I truly hope that myself along with the other wonderful DT's can inspire you to get those photos on paper.  There is a style here for everyone.  That is what I love so much about being a part!!

In the meantime...I am married to Brian, for almost 10 years (This July) and we have a Daughter (age 8) and a son (age 4 1/2).  We live in the wonderul Pacific Northwest... where I honestly love ALL kinds of weather.  I love the change of seasons.  I am a Stay at Home Mom mostly.  I left my Executive Assistant job about 2 years ago to focus more on my family.  I still work for the same company as a Security Auditor about 6 days a month.  (It's Perfect!!)  I have been scrapbooking seriously since 1996 and also dabble in cardmaking.  I find scrapbooking to be more satisfying, for I know my creations will be kept safe in a book.

I like to have fun.  I try to smile 100% of the time... for life is short!  When I am not crafting, I enjoy being outside with the kids, helping my Hubby in his garden, Hiking, Waterskiing, Boating, campin' out on the couch in front of some reality TV or playing board games.  I could on and on about everything about ME... but I am hoping you will learn more as I contribute my future layouts to share with all of you. So nice to meet all of you!  I hope I can Inspire many many layouts to come!!
