Hello fellow scrapbookers!!! Welcome to "Lasting Memories" which is all about LAYOUTS!! Yes, JUST layouts! There are no cards allowed here. We have weekly themed challenges, but you have the whole month to get in on the fun! Our challenges begin each Sunday at 8am EST and all 4 challenges will end on the date listed on the sidebar at 6pm EST. At month's end, we will choose a GDT to join us for a month! Only one entry per challenge, and no back-linking is allowed since we would love to know that we "challenged" you. We look forward to challenging you and helping you get your pages completed!

LM #705- My Favorite Things - Favorite Tool

Hello, everyone, and a happy Sunday to you! We hope that you are having a good weekend and enjoying the weather where ever you are, whether it's great for getting out and making more memories or staying in and scrapping about past good times.

This is Jill, and I thought it would be fun to focus on a few of our favorite things this month, so here is this week's challenge.

LM #705 - Favorite Tool - use your favorite go-to tool on your layout (die cutter, stencils, cutting device, pens/markers, stamps. etc.).

LM #704 - My Favorite Things - Favorite Sketch

Good morning, and welcome to another month of challenges here at Lasting Memories. First up, we have an announcement: a new scrapbooker is joining our design team. Please welcome Lisa Carlson, who has been a guest designer for us a couple of times and has graciously consented to inspire us on a regular basis with her creativity. Welcome to the team, Lisa!

LM #704 - A Favorite Sketch - Maybe try a new favorite or the one you always look to for inspiration.

I love to create sketches, so picking just one is challenging, but here is one I have used multiple times.

I used Cheryl Even's sketch. Loved it!

I picked a recent sketch I designed for Stick it Down. I love how simple this concept is, but with a little mixed media and layers of embellishments, the layout looks so much more complex!
