LM #442 - Look Up At The Sky Day
Hello, hello! Welcome back to Lasting Memories! We are so happy that you have stopped by today. We hope you are having a good weekend and that you are ready for a new challenge.
April's theme is - Holiday insights for interesting prompts and this week our interesting holiday is - Look Up At The Sky Day!
Look up at the Sky Day is a fun day to check out what's up there. 'Ya never know what might be up there. An asteroid or meteor may be on its way. A solar eclipse could be on display. A flock of geese or birds may be overhead (you may need to duck for cover!). or, the clouds may be forming into interesting characters and patterns. Take a few minutes out from your busy day to look up at the sky today. If nothing else, the break from the routine will be relaxing.

Lori
I created this page of us "flying" on a beautiful day in the mountains. The sky was too amazing to not try to be a part of it!

LM #441 - No Housework Day
No Housework Day is your chance to do anything, except housework! Better still, have someone else do the chores or a day. Housework is a daily, seemingly endless and repetitive group of tasks. It often goes unrecognized and worst of all...taken for granted. But watch out! If the dishes aren't done, or there's no clean towels, somebody notices!
Celebrate No Housework Day: if you normally do the housework around the house, cease and desist for the day. Instead, kick back and enjoy the day. Relax and do anything except housework!
LM #441 - Create a layout of you relaxing for the day
Here's a look at the design team's creations, starting with our guest designer, Mindy:
Tina
I find that in the winter I relax either with a good book, scrapping a bit or just sitting and watching the birds.

April is Lawn and Garden Month and nothing says springtime more than the sprouts and shoots of a garden.
LM #440 - Create a layout about your yard in April
We want to see what your yard looks like. Are your flowers in full bloom or are they just starting to bud? Do you put out a garden each year? Maybe you don't have a yard but you love to look at the flowers out in the stores this time of year, or maybe there's a yard in your neighborhood that you love...
Here is a look at the design team's creations - starting with our Guest Designer, Mindy:
I took these photos in my yard last April. The flowers in our yard were so pretty that I took photos of the dogs frolicking in them before we cut our grass for the first time.
Denise
I took these photos in our garden yesterday. It was such a beautiful day and our tree was full of blossoms and bees!
Natalie
I have a brown thumb, so I was extra excited to see this flower I received and planted as a gift last year returned & spread to other places in the yard! Even though I kill plants all the time, I keep planting them, so I thought the "nevertheless she persisted" stamp was perfect - haha! I also have the deathly hallows tattooed on my foot, which is why I included that in stamp and wax seal forms.
Deanna
Such beautiful layouts from the design team to inspire you today!
