Good morning! Hope everyone had a wonderful week and great weekend! This week, Claire is challenging us to "Use Shades of Green" on your layouts in honour of St. Patrick's Day. She would like to see at least 75% green on our layouts. Do you celebrate St Patty's day? The challenge is all about using FLOWERS on your layout.  Spring is finally in the air! Speaking for myself, it's sunny today and our son starts Baseball practice tonight.  Can't wait to start wearing Flip Flops again.  :)

Please Welcome our GDT for March!

Happy Thursday! Please welcome our GDT, Karen Brierley! My name is Karen Brierley, and I am from Queensland, Australia.  I live in a lovely quiet semi-rural area with my husband, 13yr old daughter and a collection of chooks and ducks!  I've been scrapping for more than 8 years.  In the past I have designed for several online scrapbooking stores and challenge blogs.  I took a break for a couple of years while I dealt with some family issues and health concerns, but now the time is right to return to scrapbooking and creative pursuits.  Scrapping is my peaceful, happy place.  I am so excited to be guest designing for Lasting Memories this month.  I am addicted to challenges, partly for the motivation, and partly because I am still trying to find "my style".  I truly believe we have a lot to learn from each other, so I love visiting other scrappers at their blogs and galleries. I'd love you to visit my blog at beingkaren.blogspot.com to say hello and see some more of my layouts.
