"Lasting Memories" Scrapbook Layout Challenges: 2020

Welcome!

Hello fellow scrapbookers!!! Welcome to "Lasting Memories" which is all about LAYOUTS!! Yes, JUST layouts! There are no cards allowed here. We have weekly themed challenges, but you have the whole month to get in on the fun! Our challenges begin each Sunday at 8am EST and all 4 challenges will end on the date listed on the sidebar at 6pm EST. At month's end, we will choose a GDT to join us for a month! Only one entry per challenge, and no back-linking is allowed since we would love to know that we "challenged" you. We look forward to challenging you and helping you get your pages completed!

LM #528 - Mixed Bag - Anything Goes

Hello, everyone! Welcome back to Lasting Memories, we are so happy that you are here today. Before I get to this week's challenge, I just wanted to say thank you to all of you that have played along with us in 2020. We are so thankful that you choose to spend some time with us each week. In order to give our design team a little time off for the holidays, this will be our last challenge of the month. The linky for our December challenges will remain open until Saturday, January 2nd and we will be right back here on January 3rd with new challenges to kick-off 2021.

Since this is our last challenge for December, I would like to thank Rona and Barbara for being our guest designers. Their beautiful work is always a great source of inspiration.

LM #527 - Mixed Bag - Word Play - "Lights"

Hello, everyone! Good Sunday morning to you! We are so happy that you have stopped by today!

It's time for our second challenge for December. Our theme for this month is "mixed bag" and our challenges will be a little bit of everything! This week we have a word play challenge for you.

LM #527 - Word Play Challenge - use a scrappy item, theme, or technique for every letter in the word - "LIGHTS". Your layout does not have to be Christmas related - it can be a layout about anything.

Introducing December's Guest Designers!!

Hello everyone and Happy Saturday! I do hope you are having a good weekend!

Hi, I am Rona and I have been scrapbooking for about 23 years and crafting probably for as long as I can remember. I am currently scrapbooking my three grandsons. I love being inspired by challenges and am honored to be a guest designer here at Lasting Memories.

I'm Barbara Greenberg from Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri, and I confess to being a scrap-a-holic for the past 11 years. I call this hobby/habit the best non-paying job ever. Between me and my husband, we have 4 kids and 8 grandkids and they keep me busy with so many fun pictures of them to scrap. I also love to travel, whether somewhere fun to see 2 hours away, or across the country, road trips are the best so I love travel layouts. Then there are the holidays, I love scrapping those, too. Well, like I said, I'm a scrap-a-holic and I love scrapping everything!
