Hello, everyone! Are you recovering from National Scrapbook Day today? I know I have a lot on my to-do list still to do!
We have a new challenge for you today, but before we get to that I want to introduce our second guest designer of May - Rachelle:
Hi there! Rachelle here from Ohio in the USA. Designing is my love to inspire others and to promote the challenges for maximum crafter participation.
I am a mother of 2 grown sons and grandmother to 2 beautiful grandchildren. I taught 6th grade for 7 years. I started scrapbooking in 2008 when I viewed a friend's work. My passion quickly turned into an addiction for this type of artistry and I never looked back. Now that I am disabled and wheelchair bound, scrapbooking/crafting is such a wonderful therapy that I love. It's not just about creating albums but it is a work of art. I love taking pictures to use to document life. Thus, here I am today enjoying each day filled with being inspired, creating, providing inspiration through my work and treasuring the memories.
I am so addicted to the art of scrapbooking and paper crafting. My skills have expanded since 2009 for creating cards, layouts, tags, altered artwork, planners, mixed media, wood, chipboard, and canvas artwork. I love using a variety of techniques, elegant and shabby chic elements. My style has been described as detailed, beautiful, and multifaceted. My greatest strength is attention to detail. I easily adapt my style depending on the type of project. You will see a mixture of styles while looking through my gallery. I like to take the viewer on a visual journey of my designs.
Now on to this week's challenge. Our theme for this month is "Variety of Shapes" and this week we are working with hearts.
LM #394 - Use one or more hearts on your layout
Here's a look at what the design team has created, starting with the beautiful creations from our guest designers:
