Welcome!

Hello fellow scrapbookers!!! Welcome to "Lasting Memories" which is all about LAYOUTS!! Yes, JUST layouts! There are no cards allowed here. We have weekly themed challenges, but you have the whole month to get in on the fun! Our challenges begin each Sunday at 8am EST and all 4 challenges will end on the date listed on the sidebar at 6pm EST. At month's end, we will choose a GDT to join us for a month! Only one entry per challenge, and no back-linking is allowed since we would love to know that we "challenged" you. We look forward to challenging you and helping you get your pages completed!

Introducing September's Guest Designers!!

Hello, everyone! Happy Saturday to you!

Today we are announcing our guest designers for September! We have two lovely ladies joining us for our September challenges and I know they are going to inspire you each week with their beautiful work! Please help us welcome Brandi Jo and Sarah!

September GDT - Brandi

Hi, I’m Brandi! I am a full-time mama, part-time paper crafter! My boys are 3.5 and about to turn 2 in a few days & full of energy. I wouldn’t have it any other way!

I am currently loving scrapping single page 12x12 layouts with the occasional double page spread. I’ve been scrapbooking since I was in late Elementary school when my Aunt got me started with 8.5x11 albums to hold my Girl Scouts memories and photos. I quickly moved to 12x12 and have too many albums to count! My husband jokes he’s a little concerned about what it’s gonna look like years from now, especially having so many photos of the boys to scrap!

I love using sketches or other design prompts to get started. My favorite part of the process is definitely picking colors and mixing and matching papers and embellishments to create the perfect combo! Some of my favorite manufacturers right now are Carta Bella, Echo Park, PhotoPlay, Cocoa Vanilla Studio and Simple Stories.

September GDT - Sarah

My name is Sarah Stone. I am a wife and mom to 4, ages 8-15. I am a Christian, I homeschool my kids, and I love crafting. Scrapbooking, card-making, knitting, and crocheting are my favorites. I live in the South with my family and my cat, Pepperjack. I am a recovering perfectionist. My style is all over the place, but challenges are my favorite because they give me some parameters in which to express my creativity. I am so happy to be joining the design team this month and attempt to step outside of my comfort zone!
