Good morning, and welcome to another Lasting Memories challenge! If you missed it, please scroll down to the next post to see the Top 3 winners for September and October.
It's design team member Lisa, and since I am an art teacher, I really want to use some artwork as inspiration for the month of November. In August, I visited the University of Iowa Children's Hospital with my daughter and grandson. I was very excited about the artwork that is on display there, so I have chosen 4 artists whose works gave me scrapbooking ideas. Be inspired by the artists' use of color, pattern, icons, and the like. Pull whatever inspires you out and use it in your layout for the week.
LM #727 - be inspired by Alexandra Ackerman's mixed media work using watercolor, colored pencil and gouache, entitled "Hovering Orbs on a Blue Grid."
Here are the layouts from our design team, starting with our guest designer.
November GDT Nelya
I was inspired by the colourful orb like shapes.
Lisa
I was inspired by the colors and circles in the artwork, and the plaid, which I hand painted.
The orbs inspired me to cut my photos into circles.
