Hello, everyone, and thanks for stopping by Lasting Memories Challenge Blog, where our focus is always on layouts. We know it's a busy time of year, but we hope you can take some time out to enjoy this fun hobby and get those memories scrapped!
The new month will be starting in just two more days, and we are all ready with our December challenge, but today we want to introduce you to our December Guest Designer. Her layout caught our eye when she participated recently, and we know she will inspire you with her beautiful work! Please help us welcome Margaret.
December GDT Margaret
My name is Margaret. I am very honored to be asked to be a Guest Designer for December. I live in Ontario, Canada and am a wife of 21 years to a history-loving veteran, a stepmother to two wonderful grown children, and a grandmother to one amazing little soul. I have been creative in one way or another my entire life and find that it has amazing benefits for maintaining a healthy mind and spirit. When life gets too noisy, I retreat to my craft room to sooth the soul. I was introduced to cardmaking in 2004 when I relocated to London and was looking for ways to meet new people in the community. I plucked up the courage and attended a local small craft supply store that offered card making and other art classes in the evenings. I met a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator there who introduced me to the wonderful benefits of scrapbooking, so have been doing both every since. I tend to focus on doing double layouts for scrapbooking. One in the 12x12 traditional style and the other a coordinating pocket page. I love being a part of the paper crafting community and enjoy not only engaging in challenges through blogging but also attending in person ‘crop and create’ events. There is something extra energizing about being in a room full of people who are all about connecting and creating!
Thanks for stopping by today. This is the final day to play along with our November challenges, so please check those out and go get creative! Then be sure to come back tomorrow to discover our December theme.
