LM #406 - Transportation - Cars

Happy Sunday scrappy friends! We are so happy that you are joining us today.

 July has seemed to fly by and it is time for a new theme and a new set of challenges! For August our theme is "Transportation". All of our challenges this month will be centered around some sort of transportation.

Our first challenge of the month is:

LM #406 - Transportation - Show one or more cars on your layout.

This can be cars in the photos, embellishments, or paper. Have fun with it!

We are back today with our last challenge of the month. Before we get to the challenge we want to say a big thank you to our Guest Designer for July - Marina. I know I have enjoyed seeing Marina's beautiful layouts each week this month!

Our theme for July has been - All About Me - and our last challenge for the month is:

LM #405 - YOU are my favorite

Create a layout documenting one - or many - of your favorite things and journal your WHY. You can do a layout listing your favorites in multiple categories - book, movie, food, location, drink, tv show, etc; or, you can focus on one favorite that deserves it's own entire layout. Maybe the world needs to know why scrapbooking is your favorite hobby!? Tell us about you, friend.

LM #404 - All About Me - Throwback to Your Glory Days

Hello, hello! Good Sunday morning/afternoon/evening to you! I hope you are having a good weekend.

We are back today with our third challenge of the month. Our theme for July has been - All About Me - and this week our challenge is:

LM #404 - Throwback to Your Glory Days

Create a layout documenting a photo and/or story from the past. You may have a story that doesn't have an accompanying photo - no problem! Find a stock photo online of something to do with the memory, or set up a staged photo to represent the story. You can dig out the archives and scrap those baby pics of yourself, too! Document an old memory you've been meaning to record.

I took a picture from the past. On this a was ca. 2 years old and we lived in Luxemburg. I watered the flowers on our balcony.

I found this Christmas family photo from long ago. I'm the little one in the rocking chair. I remember each Christmas I would get a new little baby doll.

I also choose to do a photo from my childhood. I believe that this was Christmas and I would be 

2 years old

I came across this Prom photo of my husband and me, and if those weren't the glory days, I don't know what were! Our 10 year wedding anniversary is coming up this fall, so I figure that was a perfect time to scrap about how we attended our Senior Prom together & the rest became our history.

I have been meaning to scrapbook this for a while, since I bought this phone die cut with this photo in mind.  This photo was taken on Christmas morning when I was 14 months old.  I received the Fisher Price Phone from Santa.

LM #402 - All About Me - Love Your Selfie

Hello and Happy July 1st! Can you believe we are already halfway through 2018?!

Not only do we have a new theme and a new set of challenges for you today, but we have a new Guest Designer to introduce. Please help me welcome Marina as our guest designer for July!

I’m Marina. I love scrapbooking, card-making and entering challenges. I work in a college in London. I live with my partner and 11 year old son and I have a grown-up daughter and grandsons ages 13 and 7. My blog is  https://myperfectlifeuk.blogspot.com/.
