Good morning, everyone, and welcome to the final week of our We Go Together challenges. This is Cheryl, and I thought it would be fun to celebrate Valentine's Day this month by focusing on things that go together! Hopefully you have been able to enjoy the other February challenges as well. Now let's get to this week's challenge.

 LM #690 - Be inspired by famous couple Barbie and Ken by using an item for every letter of their names.

LM #689 - We Go Together - Fasteners

Happy Sunday to all our scrappy friends, and welcome back to another fun challenge here at Lasting Memories. This is Cheryl, and I am excited to be hosting our February challenges. As we celebrate Valentine's Day this month, I thought it would be fun to focus on things that go together!

LM #689 - Stick two or more items together by using fasteners: brads, ribbon, twine, staples, etc.

I tied together two pieces of paper using ribbon to create a pocket for Valentine’s cards.

Maureen

I used a large red hessian  bow to tie my 2 pieces of paper together,  which hides the joins as well!

Sandy

I used staples to attach the two large hearts together as they are flocked and difficult to adhere and I used brads to attached the tags to the layout.

Cheryl

I used brads and twine to attach the three little banners to the layout.

LM #688 - We Go Together - Products

Good morning, everybody, and welcome back to another fun challenge here at Lasting Memories. It's Superbowl Sunday here in the United States, but that might be a great time to get some scrapping in if you're not into football or aren't hosting a gathering!

As we celebrate Valentine's Day this month, I thought it would be fun to focus on things that go together. For today, I probably should have tried to find a football inspired link (football and food? football and injuries?), but feel free to scrapbook pictures of a game if you want to get into the football spirit. Here's the challenge:

LM #688 - Create a layout and a card using the same products. If cards absolutely aren't your thing, create layouts for two different topics/events using the same products.

Introducing our February Guest Designer

Hello to everyone on this first Saturday of February. Today we are thrilled to announce our guest designer for December. She has been a guest designer for Lasting Memories before, and she is certainly welcome back, so let me re-introduce Haven.

February GDT Haven

Here is a little bit about Haven in her own words - Hi. My name is Haven and I'm a sketch-a-holic! I find that with my limited time to scrap, I get inspiration and a creative boost from using a good sketch. When I'm not working, coaching, or creating, I enjoy spending time outdoors. I've been trying to hike at least once a week and am looking forward to a few more backpacking trips this summer. You'll have to make sure you follow me to see all the beautiful nature pictures from my outings. I love playing along with the challenges and getting inspiration from the design team of Lasting Memories. I think their challenges are some of the best but I might be biased as I'm a former DT (2012-2017).
