Welcome!

Hello fellow scrapbookers!!! Welcome to "Lasting Memories" which is all about LAYOUTS!! Yes, JUST layouts! There are no cards allowed here. We have weekly themed challenges, but you have the whole month to get in on the fun! Our challenges begin each Sunday at 8am EST and all 4 challenges will end on the date listed on the sidebar at 6pm EST. At month's end, we will choose a GDT to join us for a month! Only one entry per challenge, and no back-linking is allowed since we would love to know that we "challenged" you. We look forward to challenging you and helping you get your pages completed!

LM #521 - Hello Fall - Monsters

Hello, everyone! Welcome back to Lasting Memories - we are so happy that you have stopped by today. I hope that you all are having a good weekend.

Before we get to our last challenge we want to say a big thank you to our guest designers, Sue and Shannon. They have shared such beautiful layouts with us all month long and I have really enjoyed seeing their creations each and every week!

Today is our last October challenge and it is another fun one! As a reminder, our theme for October is - Hello Fall - and we are featuring a variety of events and things you can find in October during the fall in the USA. The last challenge of the month is:

LM #521 - Monsters

Did you know that October 25th was originally called Frankenstein Friday? Frankenstein was created in a lab by a mad scientist and is one of my all-time favorite Halloween monsters. We thought it would be fun to create a layout with some sort of monster on it. Whether it is your kid dressed up as one, your dog, or just a sticker you use.

After speaking to some crafty friends about their reluctance to join online challenges because they are often concerned their entry "won’t be good enough”, I wanted to make a DT layout that is as simple as it comes.. cardstock base sprayed with some mist + grey mat with pattern paper on top and over on the side + some netting + more mats & photo + finished with alpha stickers for a title. PLEASE know that there is no such thing as “not good enough”.. Scrapping should be fun, a passion, a hobby! Please don’t be intimidated, come along and join us!

LM #520 - Hello Fall - Pumpkin Spice
