LM #794 - This or That: Stickers or Stamps/Die-cuts

Greetings, everyone, and thanks for dropping in to check out our latest challenge. This is design team member Cheryl, and all our challenges this month require you to make a choice between the two given options to inspire your layout. Are you ready to decide between This or That? Let's go!

LM#794 - THIS: Use alphabet stickers for your title OR

THAT: Create your own title using die-cuts or stamps.

Here are the fabulous layouts from the design team, starting with our guest designer.

April GDT Jessica

THAT - Jessica chose to use a die-cut title.

Lisa

THIS - Stickers. I like using both stickers and die-cuts, but probably use stickers more because they are quicker. However, the running out of vowels is an issue you don't have with stamps and dies.

Maureen

THIS - I love to used sticker alphabet  or sticker words. Occasionally use die-cuts but don't have many word dies. I do use words in ephemera packs whenever possible.

Cheryl

THAT - I feel like stamps and die-cuts are so versatile because you never have to worry about running out, and with die-cuts, you can size them to fit your space!

LM #793 - This or That

Hello, hello, and  happy Easter to you all! Welcome back to Lasting Memories. It is the start of a new month and that means that it is time for a new theme and a new set of challenges. This month we will play a game of THIS or THAT! This is design team member Cheryl, and I am challenging you to choose between the following two options to inspire your layout.

LM#793 - THIS: Use a sketch OR

THAT: Scraplift one of the Design Team's layouts.

Introducing our April Guest Designer

Happy Saturday, scrappy friends! Thanks for dropping by Lasting Memories, where we issue fun challenges every week to help you get those scrapbook pages done. Tomorrow will kick off our April challenges, but today we want to thank our March guest designer, Vivi, for sharing her amazing artwork with us. Thanks, Vivi, and we look forward to seeing your work again on the challenge posts.

Now it's time to meet our April guest designer. She is a long-time player in our challenges and has been a guest designer before, but it's always a treat to welcome Jessica to our crew!

April GDT Jessica

Hello, my name is Jessica Shurts. I live in Minnesota with my husband and 5 kids ages 19, 17, 15, 13, and 7. I started scrapbooking when I was in high school. Between cooking meals, driving my kids to all their activities (lots of soccer and dance), and being a family and senior photographer, I love using fun papers and products to tell my family's stories and using my Cricut to make unique embellishments and titles for my layouts.
