Hello, everyone! Welcome back to Lasting Memories - we are so happy that you are here today! Today is the start of a new theme and a new set of challenges!

Our theme for July is "Sketches" and DT member Lori K. has picked 5 fun sketches for us to work with this month. Here is what she had to say - "I find sketches to be a huge challenge so this month I want to challenge myself to follow sketches on some layouts." You can change it up to fit your photos but we should be able to see the overall sketch design in your layout.

My name is Maureen Wood, I live near Brisbane in Australia. I am a retired great grandmother, with 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. I love papercrafting, with a passion is scrapbooking our family memories.

Since retiring three years ago I try to spend some time each day at my craft table.

July GDT - Tracey

Hi everyone. I’m so excited to be here. I live in Melbourne and work full time as a Detective with Victoria Police. I’m a mother, scrapbooker, and love to travel (staying safe at home now though). I’ve been scrapping for about 16 years and my 20 year old son was my greatest source of inspiration until he became photophobic about 6 years ago. He now has a delightful girlfriend so photos are have started to flow again! As a former fitter & turner familiar with technical drawings, when I first started scrapping I favoured a very graphic style and struggled to even place my photo on an angle. My style has evolved and I’m a big fan of mixed media. It’s still rare though that I place my photo on an angle!

Hello, hello! Good Sunday morning to you! Happy Father's Day to all of the Dad's and father figures out there.

Introducing June's Guest Designer

Hello and Happy Saturday! I hope your weekend is off to a good start. Just a quick reminder that the deadline to enter May's challenges is today at 6 PM EST. 

Today we are introducing June's Guest Designer! Again we would like to thank Sandi, Jessica, Karen B, and Anna for being our guest designers in May. They brought so much inspiration to the blog each week. Now, please help us welcome our June Guest Designer - Karen Sessions! 

My name is Karen Sessions and I am thrilled to have been invited as a Guest Designer during June.  I live in California and I've been addicted to paper-crafting for over twelve years.  My passions are scrapbooking and card making but I have enjoyed a lifetime of creative hobbies...sewing, knitting, embroidery, ceramics, jewelry, home decor, and rubber stamping.  I am comfortable creating in many different styles: vintage, cutesie, eclectic, steampunk, and sometimes CAS but most often my work is very intricate and embellished with a feminine flair.  Embellishing is my favorite part of the process where I select the perfect finishing touch.  Creating things is a magical process and I hope you will see the love of crafting in every tiny detail of my projects.  Stop by and visit me at my blog...
